Monday Alexander lost his first tooth. Here he is proudly smiling just moments after losing his tooth. He is very excited to have lost this tooth because it means to him that he is getting to be a big boy, which he is. Where has my baby gone?

Alex, You look very grown up in your hat and with the missing tooth!

Congratulations Alex, You still have a beautiful smile even though that tooth is gone. I like those beautiful blue eyes. Now you have more room in your mouth to start growing your permanent teeth. I like that hat and I hope it's not made of wool... it would be a shame if it was cut in little strips to become a rug. JB
Such a cutie April. I'm sure it was a bittersweet moment for you too. On a one hand its a grown up right of passage for Alex --- on the other hand your baby is growing up.

Steven,
Alexander already figured it out. He said to me, "Mom is the tooth fairy real or do you just come in my room and leave a dollar under my pillow?"
When I asked him what he thought, he said, "You." When I asked him if he would be disappointed if it were me, he said, "No."
