I can't believe it but Alexander is in first grade already. Despite the aftermath of our flood and the fact that we are living in a small room in the upstairs of our home, Alexander made it to his first day of school this morning, I made it to my office, and Wade made it to his classroom. He is starting a new career as a science high school teacher.I haven't been able to set up a rug hooking spot yet but hope to figure it out soon. I need some relaxation!

He is so cute!!!
I hope he has a great first day!
Sorry to hear about your flood difficulties. Congratulations to Wade on beginning his new career.
Alexander looks quite the young gentleman sitting in his classroom. I hope that he'll like his new teacher and that your flood problems will soon be a thing of the past. JB
best wishes to Alexander at this exciting time--I always thought that the kids seemed as if they were new and shone with expectation at the start of a school year. Exciting and interesting changes for Wade as well. HS kids are great and a good kind of challenge. Looking forward to reading about Sauder when you can...You certainly have your hands full. Plumbing disasters always seem to happen at really bad times: holidays, no one is home, a terrible storm is raging, middle of the night.
Alexander is sure one cute kiddo! Hope he is enjoying First Grade. Sorry to hear about your flooding hope everything is back to normal soon!
I hope Alexander's first day was wonderful, and every day that follows is even more wonderful. When I taught First Grade I would have been so excited to have Alexander in my class - he's quite a wonderful little gentleman. We had a chat while you were trading ATCs and that was one of my prized moments at Sauder.

First grade and such a cutie!
I hope your flood woes will soon be over and you can once again claim your hooking spot.
I loved seeing your rugs at Sauder ~ or did I already tell you that? {{CRS}}
Hugs :)

How cute is he?.. Did you cry his first day of school? I remember that day well it was like I'd sent him off to war. They grow up so fast. Hope your flooded house is on the mend. Martha
My husband is also a high school science teacher-biology mainly; makes for interesting dinner conversation, especially as the kids get older!
Got your book in the mail today; can't wait to peruse it, but I'm saving it for the cabin this coming Labor Day weekend. Hope the flood hasn't put too much of a damper in your hooking!! (Sorry, couldn't resist the pun!)
